Life Insurance

Term / Whole Life / Universal Life / Flexible Universal Life / Variable Universal Life  / Juvenile Life / Juvenile Policies

No one likes to think about dying, but unfortunately it eventually happens to everyone.

There are some actions you can take right now to make sure that the people you care about are taken care of after you are gone. One of those things is purchasing a life insurance policy.

With something as important as life insurance you want to make sure you are getting the right fit for you and your needs. Additionally, your life is constantly changing so you should periodically review all your insurance, including your life insurance to make sure it is still the right fit.

Obviously a single person may have different priorities than someone who has just gotten married, or had a child.

Here are some things to thing about when purchasing life insurance:

  • Do you currently have life insurance? – Do you have a policy now? If you do, is it enough for your current situation. You should review your current policy and make sure it is still a good fit.
  • How much coverage do you have/need? – If you currently have a policy you will want to examine it and see how much you are currently covered for. If you do not have a policy and are considering getting one, you may want to sit down with your spouse and/or financial adviser to discuss how much you may need.
  • What type of policy do you want/need? – Life insurance policies come in different forms, some of the most popular known ones are whole and term. You will need to decide which type of policy is best for your situation

  • Do You Have a Policy at Work? – Do you know what happens to your policy if you leave your employer? Does the policy go with you? This is something you may want to look into.
